Awards Committee
The awards committee is comprised of current and/or former members of the South Australian burlesque & related communities, selected via an application form. In an effort to gain a well-rounded perspective, the committee will hold two places for industry newcomers with <2 years paid performance experience. Ultimately, these awards exist to improve & maintain the culture of our industry for the next “generation” of performers, and we couldn’t make that assessment without the input of people who are currently in that stage.
Members of the awards committee are ineligible for nomination. This extends to any productions, businesses, groups, or events they run. Awards committee members are permitted to submit nominations as all nominator identifiers are removed & statements of support collated before the committee can access the finalist materials. Any submitted nominations of committee members or their enterprises will be void.
